Lightings can give any space a lively look. Avoid using pale, outmoded lights to illuminate the rooms. You can easily find captivating lamps to put at one side of the bed. Ceiling lights give a modern touch to the room. Try to put lights to different locations in the room so that the visitors can use them according to their convenience. Lights also affect the mood and emotions of an individual. It is a proven fact.

APPEALING AMBIENCE

Aesthetic wallpapers and paint shades make the ambience more appealing. People these days use wooden wall designs and floorings to give their room a sophisticated twist. Remember you are using your spare rooms for hosting some tourists. While designing a homestay make sure that the ambience will leave a good impression on the visitors and should give them a cozy feel.

SPACIOUS INTERIORS

ADEQUATE VENTILATION

Proper ventilation is one of the most important factors to keep in mind when renovating the homestays. Install the windows at such a place from where the cool breeze can come in and the stingy, unpleasant smells can pass out. 

FOCUS ON GREENERY

The first and foremost important thing to keep in mind while designing a homestay is privacy. When I say privacy I mean privacy of both the host families and the visitors. When on vacations, one thing that everyone needs is peace of mind and for that privacy is a must. Never convert those rooms into a homestay which are close to your master bedroom or kitchen or near any such place where you can think the privacy of your family as well as the visitors might get hindered.
